Brewdog’s 2015 Christmas Offerings

I've enjoyed some Brewdog Christmas beers in the past - including 'There is no Santa' and 'Christmas Porter' back in 2011. This year's Christmas Brewdog offerings are 'Santa Paws' and 'Hoppy Christmas'.

Brewdog Ace of Simcoe 4.5% ABV

While Simcoe is a notoriously bitter hop, as well as imbuing pineapple and papaya flavours, Brewdog have been surprisingly restrained and produced a well balanced single hop brew.

This brew from the Wild Beer company is a tricky one to review, as they make a point of changing the recipe. So, very much an adventure.
